Yet it may not be a blemish. Early treatment can restore enamel without drilling.

White spots on the teeth are often the first signal that the enamel is losing its strength. They appear inconspicuously, without pain – but without a solution, they can turn into decay over time.

The good news is that in the early stages this is a problem that we can solve gently and without drilling. At Denticon, we use advanced procedures that can restore the natural appearance of the tooth and stop further damage.

The result is a healthier, aesthetically uniform smile without unnecessary intervention.

What are white spots on the teeth

White stains are caused when enamel weakens - most often due to mineral loss. This is an early stage of damage that does not yet affect the deeper layers of the tooth.

Is it possible to "cure" white spots

At this stage, there is no permanent damage to the tooth as in caries, but a weakening of the enamel, which can be stopped and significantly improved. White spots on teeth are caused by mineral loss, when the enamel becomes porous and changes its appearance. In the early stages, remineralisation can be encouraged, but with visible stains the aim is to stabilise the condition and restore the natural appearance of the tooth without interfering with its structure.

Treatment without drilling

If you're looking for a way to remove white spots on your teeth, it's important to choose a solution that addresses the cause, not just the appearance. Cosmetic methods may cover the stains, but they won't eliminate the problem. At Denticon, we utilize an advanced infiltration treatment using Icon Vestibular (DMG) that penetrates the compromised enamel structure, visually unifying it, restoring the tooth's natural appearance while stopping further damage.

White spots in children

White spots in children are a fairly common phenomenon - they appear mainly during the growth of teeth or after orthodontic treatment (braces). Most often they arise due to poor hygiene, an acidic environment in the mouth or an imbalance in the intake of minerals.

Notice changes in the surface of your teeth - especially dull or lighter areas that are different from the natural enamel colour. This is the first signal that the enamel is weakening.

When to solve the problem

The sooner the better. In the early stages, treatment is easier, gentler and painless. Procrastination can lead to decay and more difficult treatment.

A timely check-up with us will help to accurately assess the condition of the enamel and suggest an appropriate course of action. In addition to the treatment itself, we will also recommend specific dietary and hygiene modifications that will promote tooth remineralisation and help maintain the long-term result.
